Thanksgiving Coop Style

It was a quite Thanksgiving this year as we didn’t have our soul sista and brutha here with their chicks.  Nor did we have our oldest son who serves in the military. It was just us 6 in the brood today. We sang, we laughed, we told stories, we went around the table and shared what we were thankful for. We prayed for each other and our nation. We opened birthday gifts…we played Scattagories with the grandparents and  IMG_2620

laughed so hard some of us wished we had practiced our keigel exercises like we were told to do long ago.

From one hen to another…..

It was a day of bun warming, pumpkin eating, birthday and game playing delights.

Our one candle burning for our son who couldn’t be with us….instead he was standing watch for our freedom to have a Thanksgiving.

Can you say AMEN?

Your pictures and comments made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I'm glad to have my few glimpses in to the lives of our beloved Eplett family!
And YES! Tell us what you're thinking about a VT visitation!

Looks like a beautiful Thanksgiving! Your sweet potoato cassarole looks indeed scrumptious! Missed you both at Fellowship on Saturday. Hope you're feeling better. Don't want any chicks (or roosters for that matter) under the weather!

May your week be filled with Shalom!

Happy Thanksgiving Sandy,
Wow, you have just been blogging up a storm over here. Good to hear from you. I love your egg plate and pretty table. And it looks like your doggie had plenty of turkey & was good for a nap.

I found you on Pinterest. I just typed in your first & last name. I added me as a follower of you. I don't know how you can get in, if you can't, but it's probably connected with your facebook login...perhaps you can just email them to get your password again. I have a BUNCH of photos of greenhouses in my Pinterest board titled "greenhouses & garden sheds" that you can take a look at, but we don't have any plans drawn up. I want a lot of my greenhouse made from FREE or near free windows that I find on Craigslist, so the end look will depend on what I find. I also want a sink with pump indoors that is connected to a rain barrel in back of the green house. Oh, it looks beautiful in my vision...we will see what we end up with and when hubby can start...probably next summer at the earliest as we have a tich of snow on the ground now. That would be wonderful to have one connected to the house, but I'll have to settle for mine next to the sauna haus by the garden.

That is great that you are being gifted your Aunt's stove. What a blessing!!!

I still haven't had time to look into your product at all...life is going to be sooo busy for the next couple of weeks or so, but I haven't forgotten about it. Thankfully my pinched nerve is healing and I'm improving.

Blessings & Shalom my friend!!!
~Jane
